Nature has always been an escape from the normal day-to-day. When we bought this land years ago, I would find myself sitting out by the water, enjoying the peace and quiet of the woods. With ducks and geese overhead, beavers and otters on the lake out front, and songbirds singing in the trees, it's always been a special place. This land grounds me, and these trips to the woods here have been a reset button that I have always needed on a regular basis. In 2023, we started sharing the land with guests at our Lodge facilities, and our passion for hosting good people began to grow.

I grew up camping at state parks around Minnesota with my family and loved the adventure of hiking, canoeing, swimming, fishing, horseback riding, and campfires with people I care about. What I didn’t like about it was the pop-up campers, tents, and indoor spaces that always seemed hot, full of bugs, and cramped. When we decided we wanted to share a state park-like experience with others here at Nature Shores, we knew we wanted that same outdoor adventure but with all the luxuries of home included for our indoor spaces.

We built an experience here where you can explore amazing natural places, connect with people, and unwind from the world outside. Our property can support big groups, events, reunions, weddings, and large corporate gatherings with a full property rental, all the way down to couples getaways or even amazing housing for a corporate traveler. We want to share this property with you and hope you will join us at Nature Shores.
