Meet the Owner

Hi, I am Joshua Froelich.

Nature Shores started with a simple moment of quiet. Years ago, I came to this land needing a break from the noise of everyday life. Something about the stillness here—the trees, the pond, the open sky—made me feel grounded in a way I hadn’t in years. I didn’t know it then, but that trip changed everything.

I kept coming back, and each visit deepened the idea that this place was meant to be shared. I wanted others to experience the peace I found here, to unplug and reconnect with themselves and the people they love. Over time, that idea grew into something real: a retreat where nature and comfort could coexist.

From the beginning, my goal was to keep things simple, thoughtful, and true to the land. Each site is placed with care to preserve privacy and the natural surroundings. We added just enough comfort to make it welcoming, without taking away from the experience of being out in the woods.

What matters most to me is how people feel when they’re here. I’ve seen families laugh around the fire, couples reconnect, and solo travelers find space to think again. It’s not about fancy amenities—it’s about creating room for something real.

Nature Shores is always evolving, but the heart behind it hasn’t changed. This place gave me peace when I needed it most. Now it’s here for anyone who needs the same. I hope you find what you're looking for here—even if you didn’t know you were looking for it.

Thank you for supporting this small business and visiting our dream cabin. We adore this peaceful area and hope you will too!
